Basically, there are lots of teaching learning resources available in the internet and those also accessible. Yet, sometimes we still feel confused on choosing certain resources that can be effectively used. So, I’m here to recommend you several resources for teaching/learning English particularly for EFL learners.
Here are the list :
- BBC Learning English – http://www.bbc.co.uk/learningenglish/
According to https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/BBC_Learning_English, BBC Learning English is a department of the BBC World Service devoted to English language teaching. The service provides free resources and activities for teachers and students, primarily through its website. It also produces radio programmes which go out on some of the BBC World Service’s language services and partner stations. You can learn all of the 4 English skills in this site, andddd not only that but also you can choose the level for each material whether the basic/beginner, intermediate or even advance!!
2. TED talks – https://www.ted.com/
This is my favourite website (contains videos only) to improve my English particularly in speaking. TED is a website where you can get brilliant ideas and certainly lots of fruitful knowledge from people around the world and don’t worry because all of the speakers are using English when they’re giving speech. When you’re watching TED, it will feel like you’re attending course/lecture in certain countries outside your own country. Go check it right now!! 🙂
3. English with Lucy – https://www.youtube.com/englishwithlucy
In this channel you can learn so many things such as pronunciation, improving vocabularies, how to speak like a native speak and also grammar tips! (Well this channel is also one of my favourite channel in youtube). What makes this channel interesting is, the speaker is a native who comes from England. Besides that, those who feel that the speaker isn’t really understandable because of her stunning british accent or if she talks too fast, you don’t need to worry because the videos are always provided with Subtitles from several languages (not only English).
for more useful websites that you can use in teaching/learning English, you may check the mind map that I’ve made in completing my previous assignment. Here it is (Mind Map)
